Thunderstorm!!!!!!

After years of tilting windmills, I finally got me a window cube late last year. Unfortunately that was too late in the year to be able to watch some of Ottawa's epic thunderstorms firsthand. I *did* get to watch some of the snowstorms and the ensuing madness on the street below, but it wasn't the same. Well, today has been the start of some good times at the Mike-cube...thunderbolts and lightning, very very frightening thing! Sure it was just a baby-t-storm, but it gave me something to do for the last 20 minutes...which is all you could ask for on a friday at the gov.

I noticed that blogger now saves your posts automatically, and when it does, the 'save now' option says 'saved'...guess I know what album I'll be listening to on the way home. Are you ready? (ready) Are you ready? Get ready.

On the ever-growing list of people whose broccoli soup is nowhere near as good as my mom's: the cafeteria downstairs. Dreadful.
